On-Field Volunteers

On-Field Volunteers are adults whose volunteer duties have direct interaction with players, which includes Managers (Head Coach), Assistant Coaches, On-Field Volunteers, and Umpires.

1. Apply to volunteer though Alderwood's Sports Connect registration system. Login to your account by selecting "Member Login", then select "Register Now" and choose the appropriate group. Complete the subsequent background check request that will be sent via e-mail.

2. NEW! IN ACCORDANCE WITH WASHINGTON LAW, ALL ON FIELD VOLUNTEERS MUST COMPLETE AN ON-LINE TRAINING ON SUDDEN CARDIAC ARREST AND CONCUSSION TRAINING. SUBMIT THE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION TO THE LEAGUE. Review the Concussion Information and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness information at the Safety & Training page.

4. Submit a photo for you badge:
a) Email your photo to Gene Siebert ([email protected]).
b) The photo does not need to be professional. However, photos with sunglasses will not be accepted. We must be able to clearly identify you on your badge.

5. Provide copy of your driver's license (unless you submitted a copy as part of your player's address documentation in step 1) to [email protected] 

We encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible through the Alderwood Little League website. Applications received after March 31st of each year, will be processed on a case-by-case basis only.

Off-Field Volunteers

Off-Field Volunteers are adults who assist as Team Parents, Field Maintenance, or Concession Stand volunteers and will not have direct supervision of players. Off-Field Volunteers must complete an Off-Field Volunteer application. A volunteer ID badge will not be required, and will not be issued to Off-Field Volunteers.
