Field Day 3/16/24 10am -3pm

Here are the details for our Alderwood Little League Field Cleanup day:

When: Saturday March 16th from 10am – 3pm
Where: Alderwood Little League Fields located next to the Alderwood Boys and Girls Club

Lynnwood, WA 98036

Who's Required to attend: Everyone that did not opt out during registration. It is 1 hour of volunteer work for every player registered. For example, if you have 3 players registered with us, we are expecting 3 cleanup hours. We will have a sign in book located on a table in front of the Snack Shack.

What needs to get done:
o Field Prep on 2 of our fields
o Weeding
o Adding Field Mix to the infields
o Redefining base baths and infields
o Weed Whacking along fences, general areas. etc
0 Pruning back blackberry bushes
o Pressure Washing Bleachers, Concrete, Dugouts
o Multiple Painting Projects (Weather depending)
o Picking up Garbage
o Cleaning the snack shack, score booths, bathrooms, batting cages, equipment room, dugouts and league office.
o Hang new sponsor banners
o Painting (Weather permitting)

What do you need to bring?
o Gloves
o Clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
o Pressure Washer (If that is how you are interested in helping)
o Weed Whacker (If that is how you are interested in helping)
o Leaf Blower (If that is how you are interested in helping)
o Pruners/Loppers
o Rakes/Shovels - We only have a certain quantity of rakes and shovels.

A couple other notes surrounding Field Day.
o The snack shack will be open for those looking for a light snack or beverage.
o Alderwood Little League swag will be for sale:
